Jennifer Barclay on Giving Gifts to Yourself and Living Life on Purpose
Perhaps I'm still buzzing off of International Women's Day, but I wanted to give you a little treat today and so I'm so excited to share another episode with you.
If you follow me on Instagram, you've heard me go on and on about today's guests' writing...I'm pretty obsessed with her books Falling in Honey: How a Tiny Greek Island Stole My Heart and An Octopus in My Ouzo.
Jennifer Barclay is a writer, editor and literary agent living on the teeny, tiny and beautiful island, Tilos Greece. Greece is one of my favourite places in the entire world - there's an energy there unlike anywhere else in the world - it feels like history, simplicity and beauty that celebrates the organic and natural way of life.
Jennifer writes about her everyday life living in Greece and particularly in the book Falling in Honey, that we talk about in the episode, how she found herself to be living there in the first place.
By sharing our conversation, it’s my intention to help you connect to you to your highest and most beautiful self so you too can manifest THIS magic in your life.
In This Episode We Discuss...
+ Jennifer's past, growing up in England, living in Toronto and living in France
+ the moment (after a breakup) that she realized she was unhappy with her life and what she decided to do about it
+ reducing how much you work
+ 'Freelance Fridays'
+ self-love and doing what makes you happy
+ walking and eating with the seasons
+ life in Tilos, Greece
